Where is the closest grocery store? There are three major grocery stores, Winn Dixie and Publix both located one mile from the houses. Also, there is a Super Wal-Mart located 1 mile south on Rt 27.
Do we need the pool heater? The water temperature varies with the air temp and the sunshine. Most people feel the pool heater is needed from Sept to May.
What other amenities are available in the subdivision? About two blocks from our houses there is a community park with a playground, basketball court, community pool, and tennis court.
Where can we go to golf? There are many golf courses located within 10 miles from the houses. Our information book located on the kitchen counter has a list including phone numbers.
How far is it to Disney World and Universal Studios? Disney World is only nine miles and Universal is 20 miles from the houses.
Where is the beach? The Atlantic Ocean is a one-hour drive and going to the Gulf of Mexico will take an hour and a half to drive.
What restaurants are close by? Within a ten-minute drive are almost all of the fast food restaurants as well as Outback, Red Lobster, Dennys and many many more.
What children’s items are in the houses? There are at least one porta crib and high chair in each house. Also, each house has a couple of strollers, a few toys, lifejackets, and some children’s videos. Let us know if you have special needs.
Is there a grill? There is a charcoal grill at each house. We do ask that you clean it before you leave.
What is included in the kitchen? Food is all you should need to bring to our kitchens. Dishes, silverware, glassware, and pans are all there as well as kitchen utensils, can opener, coffee pot, toaster, and blender.
How do we get the keys to the house? Next to the front door of our houses there is a key box. About 30 days prior to your vacation when we receive your final payment we will email you the codes for the box and also for the Brinks alarm system.
Can we check in early? Usually not, if the house is booked for the week prior to your vacation our cleaning staff will be cleaning from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm to get the house ready for you.
What forms of payment do we take? We take personal checks and money orders as well as MasterCard and visa. Also, we also do take PayPal.
Are there linens? There are two sets of sheets for every bed and plenty of towels. There are white towels for use at the pool.
Is there phone service at the house? There is local phone service that includes being able to dial 911 as well as 800 numbers. A calling card is needed for long distance calls. The phone number of the house will be on the page with the codes for the house that you will have prior to your arrival.
Is there any way to get discount Disney tickets? Discount Disney tickets are hard to get. AAA offers a small discount as well as do some credit unions. Between the houses and the entrance to Disney, there are many places that offer tickets at reduced prices (around $25 each) these all involve sitting thru a timeshare presentation.
Is there a laundry room? Each house has a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.
Did I mention we do count the towels? Just kidding – we want your vacation to be the best one that you have ever had. We try to make our houses family friendly. Your satisfaction is very important to us. When you return home from your vacation we want you and your family to want to hurry back.
